Pre-Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Role

As our Pre-Sales Engineer, you are the technical partner of our Account Executives. You show prospects how AskUI solves their test automation problems. You run demos, workshops and proof of concepts (POCs). You turn a technical evaluation into a clear decision for the customer. You report to the CEO.

What you will do
  • Run technical discovery calls with QA leads, test managers and engineering teams.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored product demos of AskUI Desktop and AgentOS.
  • Plan and run POCs with clear success criteria, together with the customer.
  • Build first automations for customer use cases, for example HMI, desktop and web applications.
  • Answer technical questions, security questionnaires and RFPs.
  • Help with the handover to onboarding after the deal closes.
  • Give feedback from customers to our product and engineering team.
  • Support events, webinars and trade fairs with live demos.

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer or Test Automation Engineer.
  • Good knowledge of test automation and QA processes. Tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework or Tosca are a plus.
  • Python skills. You can write and debug scripts without help.
  • Experience with AI agents or LLMs is a strong plus.
  • You explain complex technical topics in simple words to engineers and to managers.
  • You speak fluent German and English.
  • You are ready to travel to customers in DACH and Europe.
